As a young boy I found passion in the outdoors, I started guiding hunts for feral hogs in central Texas as a teenager and eventually found myself out west chasing Elk for a living. Over the years I learned as much about other people's desire to adventure in the mountains as I did the habits of the animals that reside here.

I saw a visible gap in overlapping knowledge between bushcraft enthusiasts, backcountry hunters, and the various other pursuits of the outdoors.

I began making it my goal to be a capable survivalist as well as a formidable hunting guide. This would eventually lead me to compete on a popular television survival series and to produce some of my own amateur films of my adventures. Now I'm doing my best to offer authentic Wilderness experiences for novice and expert outdoorsmen (and women!) alike.
